Meet Our Team

Nancy Dupont

Owner

Nancy Dupont is a pioneer in horsemanship, working closely with organizations such as the Diablo Arabian Horse Association, The Amigos De Anza Equestrian Drill Team, The Equestrian Center of Walnut Creek, and the East Bay Regional Parks District to further the interests of the equestrian community as a whole.

Nancy has a lifetime of involvement with horses, including dressage, western pleasure and competitive trail. For 25 years, she conducted group rides in 22 wilderness areas, teaching wilderness ethics and how to camp with your horse.

In the late 90’s, Nancy formed a partnership with the East Bay Regional Park District to expand the operation to an additional 10 acres, including 2 riding arenas which are presently day camps with selected overnight camps for advanced riders.

Rebeca Mendez

Manager and Head Instructor, CHA Certified

Rebeca has her 3rd level CHA certificate and is a favorite instructor with the kids, campers and apprentices! She leads all of our private lessons and camps, as well as runs our apprenticeship program. Rebeca takes personal pride in teaching individuals of all levels how to improve upon their riding skills. When she is not at the ranch teaching a lesson, working with the apprentices, or caring for the horses, you can almost always find her out on a trail with her horse, Eicon, and dog, Rocky.
